The 80mm series CNC drag chain (bridge type) is our largest standard bridge-type cable carrier, molded from 30% glass-fiber reinforced PA66 nylon with enhanced structural reinforcement throughout. With 80mm inner height, this series represents the pinnacle of our standard product line, engineered for extreme heavy-load and long-travel applications where smaller series cannot maintain structural integrity over extended distances and under maximum cable loads. Available internal widths extend up to 600mm or more , accommodating 25-30+ cables, hoses, or a combination of thick power cables, hydraulic lines, and fiber optic bundles all in a single chain. Also referred to as 80mm cable carrier, 80mm cable chain, or 80mm cable track.
The 80mm series is the ultimate choice when your 65mm series chain has reached its limits — either in load capacity, travel length, or both. This series is purpose-built for the most demanding industrial applications where economical cable carriers fail due to structural fatigue, sagging, or "snaking"
Key indicators that you need the 80mm series:
♦Cable bundles exceed 25 lines or include multiple thick (50mm+ OD) power cables and hydraulic hoses
♦Travel distances exceed 5-8 meters unsupported, requiring extended span capability
♦Operating environments involve heavy debris, extreme temperatures, or offshore conditions
♦High-cycle operations require maximum fatigue resistance and service life (10M+ cycles)
This series also supports gliding applications where travel length exceeds the carrier's unsupported span — in these cases, the chain operates in a guide trough or with support rollers, enabling travel lengths up to 400 meters or more .
Not recommended for: compact machines with limited routing space, or applications with light cable loads that would be better served by our 45mm or 55mm series.
Our 80mm series CNC drag chain is molded from 30% glass-fiber reinforced PA66 nylon with enhanced structural reinforcement. The larger cross-section requires thicker side links and reinforced ribs to maintain rigidity under extreme loads. This material formulation delivers exceptional strength and impact resistance, making it well-suited for the repeated flexing, heavy loads, and mechanical stress encountered in the most demanding industrial applications.
The material maintains stable performance from -40°C to +130°C, resists oils, coolants, and mild acids/alkalis.

The bridge type (open top) design provides fast heat dissipation, easy cable installation through snap-open links without threading, and visual inspection capability. Despite the larger size, the energy chain remains significantly lighter than steel alternatives — about one-third the weight — reducing the load on your machine's drive system while providing maximum cable protection.
The 80mm series is purpose-built for the largest, heaviest, and most demanding industrial applications. The high load capacity and structural rigidity make this series the only choice for equipment requiring maximum cable capacity and extreme travel distances. Typical applications include:

♦Heavy-duty CNC machines – the largest machining centers, heavy-duty lathes, and special-purpose machine tools
♦Large-format laser and plasma cutting tables – where long-axis strokes require stable cable management over significant distances
♦Offshore and marine equipment – retractable thrusters and shipboard systems requiring corrosion-resistant cable management

The 80mm series handles travel distances in excess of 5-8 meters unsupported, and with gliding applications (guide troughs or support rollers) can achieve travel lengths of 400 meters or more, making it the preferred choice for the most extreme industrial environments .
For machines with smaller routing spaces or lighter cable loads, we recommend our 55mm or 65mm series instead.
