The 45x250 bridge open type CNC drag chain is one of the largest models in our 45mm series, molded from 30% glass-fiber reinforced PA66 nylon. With 45mm inner height and 250mm inner width, this model accommodates up to 18-22 standard cables or hoses, making it ideal for large CNC machining centers, gantry milling machines, heavy-duty lathes, and laser cutting systems with substantial cable bundles. The openable esign allows fast heat dissipation and easy cable access with the help of a screwdriver — whether you search for it as a cable carrier, cable chain, or cable track.
Compared to the 45x150, the 45x250 offers 100mm additional width, providing generous clearance for multiple thick power cables, heavy hydraulic hoses, and fiber optic lines. This extra space reduces cable friction, improves airflow, and simplifies future system upgrades.

The 45x250 is specifically designed for large-scale equipment requiring long travel distances and heavy cable capacity. This model handles travel distances up to 5 meters without support, and for longer strokes, it can be used in gliding applications operating in a guide trough or with support rollers.
Typical applications include large CNC machining centers, gantry milling machines, heavy-duty CNC lathes, large-format laser cutting tables, heavy industrial automation systems, and robot transfer units. For smaller machines with limited routing space, we recommend our 35mm series instead.
